Comic-Con 2013 Photos – Friday

I had been on about a total of 2 hours sleep within the past 2 nights (I do not recommend this), now realizing that it’s not as easy for me to sleep when so much energy floating about the San Diego downtown/Gaslamp Quarter.  The excitement is non-stop, even when you’re tired, and the music playing across the street at Petco Park (thanks, Nerd Machine) certainly can foil your plans for a peaceful night’s rest.

But also, knowing that another day full of buzz, videos, clips, and actors/celebrities are going to complete your day certainly aids in the lack of zzz’s.

I hunkered myself down in the little known venue called Hall H (okay, not so little as it seats 6500 people), making myself as comfortable as possible knowing that I was going to be there all day.  It started off fairly kindly with the introduction of the final film of the Cornetto trilogy, The World’s End, starring Simon Pegg and Nick Frost, and directed by Edgar Wright.

I was able to take myself out of there for a quick interview (which I will post about soon), and then went back in time for the Kick-Ass 2, which had Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Christopher Mintz-Plasse, Donald Faison, Lindy Booth, and John Leguizamo on panel and Riddick, which had Vin Diesel and Katee Sackhoff on panel.

Then came the double deadly whammy of The Walking Dead and Game of Thrones, which you can see photos of here and here.

The next panel was the Sony & Screen Gems panel, which was the main reason for my spending my day there.  The next sets of photos pertains to 2 of the movies being promoted, the first being Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs 2.  Bill Hader (Flint Lockwood), Anna Faris (Sam Sparks), and Terry Crews (Earl Devereaux) were on the panel, with directors Cody Cameron and Kris Pearn:

Those who joined director Jose Padilha in the newly stylized version of Robocop were Joel Kinnaman (Alex Murphy/Robocop), Michael Keaton (Raymond Sellars), Abbie Cornish (Clara Murphy), and Samuel L. Jackson (Pat Novak).

If you want to know about The Mortal Instruments: City of Bones panel, check out the photos from that panel at TMIFandom.net and TMISource.com, where I’ve posted them.  And by Godfrey, I love the cast for that movie!
